Combo contests have always been one of our favorite ways to celebrate what makes the Skullgirls Mobile community special: your creativity, your humor, and skill. And when Black Dahlia is involved, that energy gets dialed all the way up. Every contest brings a flood of clips that feel less like “optimal play” and more like pure expression, and that’s exactly the vibe we want to spotlight again.

With Guilds now live and Undying Shards giving you a new battleground to tackle together, we decided to spice things up by letting this combo contest live inside the new mode. For this contest, your guild enters as a team, but it only takes one truly unhinged Black Dahlia combo to put your whole crew on the map. One standout clip can carry an entire guild to victory, and in the end, three guilds will rise above the rest thanks to their chosen champion.

So rally your guildmates, share ideas, and help one another cook up something unforgettable. Whether you’re the one pulling off the combo or the ones cheering from the sidelines, this is a full-on community showcase where style, creativity, and Guild teamwork matter just as much as execution!

CONTEST RULES:

This contest isn’t about chasing the most practical or “meta” combo. It’s about having fun and showing off the wild, creative side of Black Dahlia. We want to see combos that surprise us, make us laugh, and feel truly unique. The more inventive and unexpected your setup, the better your chances of standing out. A long combo isn’t automatically impressive, especially if it relies on repeating the same moves or infinite loops. Boring combos need not apply!

Judging Criteria

To help guide your entries, our judges will be looking at three main criteria:
Flashy style — moves and movement that come together in visually exciting ways.
High creativity — out-of-the-box ideas, clever interactions, and setups we haven’t seen before.
High skill ceiling — precise timing, smart manipulation of the AI, and impeccable positioning that show real mastery.

Specific Rules

• Each participant must enter as a guild, and the winning combos will be a victory for the entire Guild. Yes, ALL the guild members will receive the same reward.
• This combo contest is Guild oriented as well as showcasing your skills in the new fight against an Undying Boss: "Undying Warrior Marie".
• For this combo contest, you must use Black Dahlia in your combo. You can use any number of Black Dahlia(s), but you cannot use any other character in the combo (You can have other characters on your team. Only for their passive Signature Abilities, but that fighter cannot take part in the combo itself!).
• • Guest Stars are allowed to participate in the combo.
• The combo counter must be a true combo (gold coloured combo). If your combo goes red at any point, this means the opponent had an opportunity to block the combo at some point. Therefore, it is not a true combo.  

Submission Details

• This contest will run from December 16, 2025 until December 30, 2025.
• Winners will be announced on January 5th, 2026.
• To submit entries, you need to post your combo on Instagram or Twitter and use the hashtag #BDahliaComboContest, followed by the name of your Guild (You can post your entry on YouTube and then make a post about it on Instagram or Twitter if you like).
• Each Guild can enter as many times as you like, but a guild can only win once. Make sure all of your entries have the #BDahliaComboContest hashtag and the name of your Guild.
• If you are in a guild with multiple subsidiaries (e.g. Unbroken Skull), you may not submit one clip to represent all guilds. Only submit a clip for the guild you are personally part of. You may not submit one clip with your subsidiary guilds listed.
• Guilds with multiple subsidiaries do not get rewards for their subsidiaries. We have chosen to do this in order to keep the prize pool consistent. Even though you could be part of a bigger guild, that guild mate who won; has won the prizes for the in-game guild that they are in.
• We will be linking to the winners from our Social Media pages, so we cannot accept entries from NSFW Twitter or Instagram accounts.
• All submitting accounts must follow the official Skullgirls Mobile X(Twitter) account.
